Job Overview We are seeking a seasonal Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and ensuring the food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Handle food with proper safety and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to service stations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen tools, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support food service staff during busy periods by providing timely assistance as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and adherence to food safety standards is essential
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or working within the food industry will help ensure success in this role
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Having a positive attitude is a must
- Must work well with others
Job Type: Seasonal Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 ? 35 per week
