Context of the project: The Business Administrator will support and coordinate system-related change controls across manufacturing and quality systems including PI, DeltaV, and MES. This role will act as a key liaison between technical teams, system owners, Quality, and Operations to drive timely preparation, documentation, execution, and closure of change controls while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
Job Duties Prepare, coordinate, and manage change control documentation for PI, DeltaV, MES, and other GMP-regulated systems Collaborate with system owners, Quality, Validation, Engineering, and Operations teams to gather required information and drive change implementation activities Track change control timelines, action items, approvals, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution and closure Support impact assessments, risk assessments, implementation plans, and associated GMP documentation activities Facilitate stakeholder communication and follow-ups to expedite review and approval processes across cross-functional teams Maintain accurate system documentation, records, and change-related files in accordance with GMP and data integrity requirements Assist with implementation coordination, testing documentation, and post-implementation activities related to system changes
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical discipline Hands-on user experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing systems such as PI, DeltaV, MES, or similar GMP-regulated platforms Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment Experience with technical writing, GMP documentation, change controls, deviations, and regulated system processes within pharma or biotech environments o Nice to have: GMP / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience o Tools / software / methodology / certification: Delta V, Pi, MES o Soft skills: Strong communication and technical writing skills o Seniority level: 5+ years

In accordance with our compensation practices, ALTEN is providing the salary range associated with this opportunity. Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $95,000 – $100,000 per year.
