The Opportunity:

4 month work term: September 2026 – December 2026

How You Will Contribute:

The DSP ASIC development team is seeking an enthusiastic co-op candidate to help with design and verification activities for leading-edge ASICs targeting the WaveLogic family of products. You will work within a team of designers, verification engineers and architects. Possible tasks include:

• Design: Assist with module coding, optimization, tool-related infrastructure
• Verification: Functional testing of design blocks, environment development
• Flow Improvements: Coding scripts, common components to improve team productivity

The Must Haves:

• Working towards completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Foundational knowledge of circuit design and digital logic
• Demonstrated proficiency with OOP coding in C++, Python, or other programming language

Assets:

• Experience with:
  • Hardware design using Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL
  • Scripting
  • DSP

Pay Range:

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00
