What You'll Do Install residential and small commercial gas meters Perform safety inspections and leak tests Complete digital work orders Deliver excellent customer service Follow utility and safety standards
What We're Looking For We're looking for candidates with: Strong mechanical aptitude Comfortable using hand tools Ability to work independently Good communication and customer service skills Comfortable using mobile technology
Experience in plumbing, HVAC, pipefitting, gas fitting, utility services, or other mechanical trades is an asset but not required. A Class B Gas Ticket is also an asset but not required.
Compensation This is an Independent Contractor opportunity. Average earnings: $60+ per completed gas meter installation $40+ per stand-alone relight High-performing contractors completing 8–12 installations per day can earn approximately $480–$720+ daily, with no earning ceiling.
