We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Temporary Warehouse/Materials Associate to join our team our Saint John, NB team for an offsite project. This individual will be on a contract-basis until project completion (anticipated 2 years).
Work Location & Professional Conduct expectations:

This role will be offsite, based at client locations (Irving Pulp & Paper). The selected individual will be required to commute directly to/from the client’s site (4KM from Source Atlantic head office).

Working hours will be 50 hours/week (OT paid after 40 hours). Opportunities for both shifts listed below:
- DAYSHIFT - 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday
- NIGHTSHIFT - 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday
- A night shift premium will be paid-out, over and above the standard hourly rate

Work will primarily be outdoors and prepared to wear weather appropriate attire.

As part of pre-employment & site-accesses, the selected individual will be subject to mandatory Criminal Background Verification, Driver's Abstract & Drug and Alcohol Screening.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for delivery
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through counts, documentation, and system updates
- Ensure the warehouse space remains orderly and efficient
- Follow all site-specific safety rules and procedures
- Communicate effectively with on-site personnel as well as the internal teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification:
- High school diploma is required
- Experience working in an industrial and/or outdoor environment would be an asset
- Valid Driver's License in good standing
- Able to manipulate stock weighing up to 50lbs & able to stand, walk, lift, reach, etc for extended periods of time
- Forklift certification would be a strong asset
- Customer-focused and positive attitude
- Strong motivation to learn
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Proactive approach to all tasks, effective time management, and punctuality
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
- Superior organizational skills
