Job Overview

Reporting to the Global Factory Product Support Manager, Hard Rock, the Factory Product Support Administrator is responsible to support the administration for the global product support team including general reporting, presentation and notice creation, time and attendance maintenance and purchase order processing. This role will include dynamic day to day tasks and require a high level of multi-tasking, organization, and individual initiative.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Global Product Support team, including the Global Product Support Manager, Product Support Leaders, and Factory Technical Specialists. Responsibilities include preparing reports, presentations, internal communications, and supporting departmental coordination activities.
  • Create, manage, and accurately code factory support work orders, notifications, sales orders, sub-service orders, and billing transactions in SAP for all field service activities performed by Factory Product Support Specialists. Ensure timely closure of work orders and accurate cost allocation following invoicing.
  • Support labour tracking and payroll administration, including timesheet processing and time and attendance corrections.
  • Coordinate purchase requisitions and purchase orders for materials and services with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Accounting teams. Assist with PO reconciliation, cost tracking, margin calculations, invoicing setup, and closure activities while ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on operational and financial data including utilization, job costing, labour hours, departmental expenses, invoicing, and other service-related metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Run, maintain, and distribute SAP and web-based reports related to service operations, invoicing, utilization tracking, and departmental performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through the development and maintenance of process maps, standardized procedures, and documented workflows.
  • Support administration for technical training programs for sales regions and factory technical staff, including scheduling, coordination, and maintenance of training records.
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and departmental events as required.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic filing systems for all Factory Product Support documentation and records.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Business Administration Diploma or relative experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Administrative Support role, previous experience in an industrial setting considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with industrial work order processing is a benefit.
  • May be required to travel locally up to 10% of the time for meetings and training.

Compensation Range

At Komatsu, base pay is just one part of a comprehensive total compensation package designed to support and reward our employees.

For this role, the annual base compensation range is $53,000.00 to $63,000.00 CAD. The final offer will be determined based on several factors, including the candidates' skills, experience, qualifications, and the position location.
