About the opportunity: The Corporate Quality & Food Safety Co-op will provide key support in the areas of Manufacturing Quality and Food Safety documentation. The role will support in the creation and development of various documents, including SOPs, forms and other supporting documents related to GMP, HACCP, QSLc, certifications, sanitation, etc. The role could be involved in problem solving and the creation of CAPAs.
The attributes we are looking for: Assist efforts to ensure that all product and process related documentation is current including HACCP Plans, Prerequisite Programs, Standard Operating Procedures, etc. Assist the Quality and Production Supervisor to ensure all documentation meets standards. Assist with root cause analysis and determine the necessary corrective action. Assist with calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment. Participating in production monitoring to ensure established standards and specifications are met. Assist with physicochemical and microbiological analysis to evaluate the quality and stability of food products. Participant in Health & Safety Program where applicable.
What you will bring: Attending college or university in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study. Capable of understanding and writing Procedures for the manufacturing sites with attention to details. Advanced proficiency with office computer technology including Microsoft Office products. Effective in working alone or with team to investigate reoccurring deviations and develop appropriate CAPAs. Excellent attention to detail for product analysis and recording of product data to close non-conformance deviations. Excellent communication and cooperation with coworkers to complete projects and to increase work quality. Fast learner and can easily understand and adapt to new procedures in a short period. Good communications and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is $21/h – $22.50+/h.
Please note: Along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
