About the role

About the Role As a Sales Intern, you will support the sales team in identifying prospects, engaging potential clients, and helping manage the sales pipeline. We believe great salespeople are developed, not born, and we will actively invest in your growth throughout the internship.

What We Will Teach You How to prospect and identify high-quality leads How to communicate with potential clients professionally and confidently How to run effective outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) How to qualify opportunities and understand customer needs How a CRM is used to manage a real sales pipeline How deals move from first contact to closed-won How to handle objections and improve conversion rates How to think strategically in a sales environment You will not be left on your own—we will provide training, coaching, and ongoing feedback so you can improve week by week.

Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential leads and target accounts Assist in outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn Support preparation of sales presentations and materials Maintain CRM data accuracy and pipeline organization Participate in sales meetings and training sessions Follow up with prospects under team guidance Learn and apply consultative selling techniques

Requirements Currently enrolled in a college or university program (business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A willingness to learn and take feedback Self-motivated and proactive attitude Comfortable using basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM a plus) Ability to work independently and within a team

Nice to Have Previous customer service or sales experience (not required) Interest in startups, business development, or entrepreneurship Familiarity with LinkedIn or outreach tools

Internship Details Type: Internship (part-time or full-time depending on availability) Location: Remote, Canada Duration: 3–6 months (flexible) Compensation: Academic credit + Commission (to be discussed)
