The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering complex IT projects within a government/public sector environment. This role requires full lifecycle project ownership, strong stakeholder management, and experience in cloud/SaaS or system integration projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder IT initiatives while adhering to governance, compliance, and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies

Stakeholder & Communication Management

Engage with business, IT, vendors, and executive stakeholders Provide regular status reporting and governance updates Facilitate meetings, steering committees, and decision-making forums

Risk, Budget & Governance

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks Manage project budgets (&Client; $500K projects) Ensure compliance with government governance frameworks

Technical & Delivery Oversight

Lead cloud/SaaS or system integration projects Coordinate with vendors and internal teams Drive Agile / Hybrid project delivery methodologies

Must-Have QualificationsPreferred Qualifications

PMP or PRINCE2 Certification (Mandatory) Experience managing minimum 3 complex IT projects, each with: Cloud/SaaS or system integration components Strong end-to-end project accountability (not just coordination) Ability to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan Experience in public sector / government IT projects Experience with formal governance and audit environments Strong Agile / Hybrid delivery experience Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) Organizational Change Management exposure
