We are currently looking for a responsible, supportive Educational Assistant to assist in the classroom in various capacities. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in working with children, a friendly and approachable nature, and the ability to be sensitive and responsive to students' individual needs.

This is a full-time, temporary position located at Berry Creek Community School, working 30 hours per week, commencing the first day of the 2026-2027 school year. The position has been established to support current staffing needs and will conclude when the temporary staffing requirement has been addressed.

The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in providing additional assistance to students and will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, and families. The candidate will be expected to present themselves as an organized and professional representative of the school, both in person, by telephone, and through written correspondence. Previous experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment would be considered an asset.
