The successful candidate will drive SEO initiatives to improve search engine rankings, enhance Google Maps visibility, and leverage AI-driven strategies to maximize digital reach. The position is part-time, contract-based, and fully remote, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a competitive and rapidly evolving sector.

Deliverables

Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and implement on-page and off-page optimization strategies for the company website. Improve local SEO performance, particularly for Google Maps and location-based searches in Alberta. Develop and execute AI-powered techniques to enhance website visibility and user engagement. Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align SEO strategies with business goals and marketing campaigns. Stay updated on the latest SEO and AI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the solar industry.

Requirements

Proven experience in SEO, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization. Demonstrated ability to improve search rankings and local SEO, especially for Google Maps. Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and techniques. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar. Excellent communication and reporting abilities. Experience working with clients in the energy, technology, or related sectors is an asset. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results on a part-time, contract basis. Must be available to start immediately and work remotely.
