Job Requirements

Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE). Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification. Current Vulnerable Sector Check. Up-to-date immunizations. Food Handler's Certificate is considered an asset. Passion for early childhood education and child-centred learning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. French language proficiency is considered a strong asset. Montessori experience or training is an asset.

Job Description

French Elite Montessori is a newly established bilingual Montessori school in St. Catharines, offering a unique full French immersion environment for preschool children. We are committed to fostering independence, curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning through authentic Montessori principles in a warm, inclusive, and nurturing community.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our growing team.

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment while supporting the implementation of our Montessori curriculum in a full French immersion setting.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of an authentic Montessori learning environment. Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development. Promote children's independence, confidence, and love of learning. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment. Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Collaborate with the Head Teacher to maintain high-quality educational programming. Comply with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Ministry of Education regulations, and school policies.
