As the Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting business needs and coordinating and/or completing changes necessary to meet those needs.</span><br><br><span style="">You will be involved with the creation of, or changes to, existing systems, forms, and procedures. You will have a direct impact on projects, driving progress and enhancements to departmental outcomes and strategic priorities to best serve Nova Scotia's most vulnerable people.</span><br><br></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Primary Accountabilities</b></H2></div><div><p><br><span style="">In this position, we count on your expertise to assess business requirements and opportunities, formulate options, and define recommended solutions. You will achieve this by:</span></p><ul><li style=""><span style="">consulting with clients, evaluating current solutions/services, and recommending solutions;</span></li><li style=""><span style="">supporting solution implementation;</span></li><li style=""><span style="">leading the preparation and documentation of; business requirements, functional requirements, business cases, workflow process and data models;</span></li><li style=""><span style="">designing and developing business requirements for solution changes; and</span></li><li style=""><span style="">developing and maintaining business process and "how to" material</span></li></ul><p><br><span style="">You will work with staff and with our technology team to ensure changes are monitored, tested, evaluated and ready for implementation.</span>
