About Our Client Our client is a leading global real estate investment management advisor and a globally recognized provider of real estate services. They are looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A, for a 24-month contract. This role is based in Vancouver.
About the Opportunity Lead the delivery of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and other financial planning activities, providing insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making. Prepare actionable financial analysis and recommendations for senior leaders, operating with a high degree of independence and professional judgment. Design, maintain, and enhance recurring and project-specific financial models used for planning, performance measurement, and scenario analysis. Consolidate, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Partner with business stakeholders on strategic initiatives and special projects, including support for M&A, corporate initiatives, operational improvements, and business growth opportunities. Produce research, quantitative analysis, and executive-ready materials for senior management and other key stakeholders. Serve as the primary owner of Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting and recurring KPI reporting requirements. Build collaborative relationships across business functions to ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information and analysis.
About You Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional designation such as CPA, CFA and/or MBA strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or a similarly analytical environment; financial services experience is an asset. Advanced Excel proficiency with demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining sophisticated financial models. Experience working with large datasets and data transformation tools such as Power Query, SQL, or comparable technologies. Strong PowerPoint, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leaders.
