About the role
Join the County of Elgin as a Temporary RPT RN at Elgin Manor! Elgin Manor is a 90-bed long-term care facility situated in the Township of Southwold, just a few minutes outside of St. Thomas, Ontario. Each home area is equipped with recreation rooms, sitting areas, and television lounges to enhance programming, socialization, and visits from family and friends. Elgin Manor also features multiple outdoor garden patio areas and walkways in a tranquil rural setting, right in the heart of beautiful Elgin County. Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Type: Temporary, Regular Part-time (RPT) Compensation: $39.07 – $56/hour as per collective agreement

About the Role: As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a collaborative care team that will provide professional nursing care to residents. As a leader, you will support, supervise and provide guidance to the Personal Support Workers and Registered Practical Nurses within the Home as they provide care to the residents. Qualifications: Must have current Registered Nurses registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Must have current Standard First Aid with CPR Level HCP Related work experience, specifically in geriatrics, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing, and/or completion of a course in geriatric nursing is an asset Demonstrated skills in planning, coordinating and supervising others Good physical/mental health with a mature and professional attitude What You Can Expect as an Employee: Competitive compensation + 13% in lieu of benefits and 4% vacation pay, paid every pay.
