IMMEDIATE INTERIM OPPORTUNITY Interim Director, Total Rewards Reports To: Vice President, Human Resources Duration: 6 months – strong potential for full-time hire Location: Downtown Toronto – 3 days per week in office
A financial services client is seeking an Interim Director, Total Rewards who has managed this function for a mid-sized organization. They will take the role as the organization goes through a transition. They could be offered full-time once the transition is completed and a new structure crystalized.
Key Accountabilities: Continuous market monitoring to ensure that the compensation & benefits strategy is competitive and fair – this includes preparing briefing materials for the ELT and Board. Compensation Administration, Job Architecture and Job Evaluation. Leading compensation structuring for new leadership hires. Sales Incentive Compensation administration. Equity Administration. Leadership of the team and forging strong partnerships with the business. Working with the CHRO to keep the Compensation Committee up-to-date on emerging topics.
Competencies and Requirements: 10 years in a Total Rewards leadership role, being both strategic and tactical/hands on. Significant experience with equity and sales incentive compensation programs. Ability to lead total rewards through the year-end process including reporting. Experience working with the senior executive team and external ownership groups would be ideal.
