Cloud Infrastructure & Identity Administrator We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & Identity Administrator for our client.

ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Identity Administrator to strengthen and modernize its enterprise identity, cloud infrastructure, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments. Working alongside an existing Azure and Identity Administrator, this role will provide critical depth and redundancy while helping maintain secure, resilient, and highly available identity and infrastructure services. The successful candidate will administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, hybrid identity, Azure infrastructure, and enterprise certificate services while supporting ongoing modernization initiatives across PKI, identity governance, and cloud infrastructure. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a mature Microsoft enterprise environment supporting critical authentication, security, and infrastructure services.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure, enterprise identity platforms, and certificate services while contributing to cloud security, identity governance, and infrastructure modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Administer and modernize the organization’s enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) built on Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS). Maintain certificate authority hierarchy, certificate templates, auto-enrollment, CRL/OCSP services, NDES/SCEP, and certificate lifecycle management. Administer Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Microsoft Entra Connect, Conditional Access, MFA, licensing, and identity governance. Support Active Directory Domain Services including domain controllers, DNS, Group Policy, replication, and directory health. Administer Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, resource groups, RBAC, and core infrastructure services. Monitor Azure infrastructure health, security posture, and costs using Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure Cost Management. Support AWS and GCP identity management, including federation with Microsoft Entra ID where applicable. Develop automation and reporting using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and related administration tools. Respond to escalated infrastructure, identity, and certificate-related support issues. Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles while providing backup coverage for the Azure and Identity Administration function.

REQUIREMENTS Must-Have 4–6 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure infrastructure and enterprise identity environments. Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), enterprise PKI administration, certificate templates, auto-enrollment, and certificate lifecycle management. Experience administering enterprise PKI environments, including certificate authorities, CRL/OCSP services, and certificate enrollment services (NDES/SCEP). Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), hybrid identity, Microsoft Entra Connect, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and identity governance. Experience administering on-premises Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, Group Policy, organizational units, and directory replication. Experience administering Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, resource groups, Azure RBAC, and infrastructure services. Working knowledge of IAM within AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform, including federation with Microsoft Entra ID. Strong PowerShell scripting skills with experience using Microsoft Graph API and Graph PowerShell SDK for automation and administration. Experience with Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Cost Management, and infrastructure monitoring. Experience working within ITIL-based service management environments. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Experience modernizing enterprise PKI environments, including CA upgrades, cryptographic improvements, HSM integration, and certificate lifecycle automation. Experience with enterprise certificate lifecycle management platforms such as Sectigo, Venafi, or Keyfactor. Associate-level AWS or GCP certifications. Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, SC-300, or Windows Server / AD CS certifications. Experience managing Microsoft Premier Support or enterprise vendor support cases.

ABOUT THE ROLE Location: Concord, Ontario (Hybrid) Duration: 6-month contract to start Work Hours: Standard business hours with occasional after-hours work to support maintenance windows, certificate lifecycle events, security patching, and incident response.

PAY DISCLOSURE The average hourly contract pay range for this field is as follows: Intermediate: 4–6+ years of experience — $65–$80/hr Compensation is commensurate with experience, technical expertise, certifications, and market conditions.
