About the role

Job Description What is the opportunity? As a key member of the Institutional Portfolio Operations Team, RBCGAM PH&N Institutional you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the reconciliation tool, reconciliation of month end market values for Institutional Client accounts, and other ad-hoc client account related tasks. *Please note this is a 21 month contract maternity leave coverage role. What will you do? Using your keen attention to detail, you will be cross- referencing new securities and portfolios in the Electra system and assisting the Institutional Portfolio Analysts in the daily review and investigation of unmatched cash, holdings and transaction data for Institutional Accounts. Using your advanced excel skills, you will be reconciling portfolios for Institutional Clients on a monthly basis by the required deadline as well as investigating material pricing discrepancies. Provide valuations, performance and cash reports to internal and external stakeholders on a monthly and quarterly basis. Using your strong organizational skills, you will also be printing, distributing and filing reports along with coordinating team meetings. While having knowledge of the Institutional Portfolio Analysts’ daily responsibilities, you will assist the team on an ad-hoc basis. Maintain detailed account notes and procedures. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word Detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy along with excellent written and communication skills Ability to prioritize and multitask using your strong organizational and problem solving skills Self-starter that is client services and solutions oriented Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team University degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience Canadian Securities Course Nice-to-have Experience with Eagle, Unitrax, and Electra What’s in it for you?
