About the role

We're growing our team of part-time, on-call babysitters for casual and short-term work with Vancouver families. Most of our families have young children, primarily in the infant and toddler range, so we're especially interested in caregivers who feel confident and calm with the under-2 age group.

This is a flexible position, ideal for someone who wants to set their own schedule and pick up shifts that fit their life. Shifts range from one-off evenings to short-term recurring bookings. You're never required to take a shift, you accept what works for you.

What we're looking for

• Prior caregiving experience with young children
• Warm, calm, and confident in your approach to care
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Current CPR-C certification, or willingness to obtain it
• Strong references from previous caregiving work

How pay is structured

• Hourly rate is based on the number of children in your care and the type of booking
• Standard rates start at $22/hr and scale up depending on the booking
• Airbnb and hotel bookings are paid at a higher rate
• Overnight bookings are paid at a flat rate
• Additional rate adjustments apply when there's more than one child in the home

Full rate sheet is shared with candidates after the initial screening call.
