Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting Summer School Teachers for the following courses (pending sufficient student registration):

• Foundations of Safety
• Introduction to Hairstyling
• Introduction to Computing, Digital Media, and Design IT
• Introduction to Mechanic/Fabrication and Construction

Open to: Internal and external candidates who have or are eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.

These courses will run weekdays from July 6 to July 17, 2026 with class times from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The teacher will be compensated for 45 hours of instruction (plus planning and supervision) at a rate of $63.00 per hour.

Please indicate and prioritize the specific courses you would be proficient in teaching .

Experience teaching the course will be considered an asset.

Experience teaching in a condensed timeline will be considered an asset.
