Lead SAS Data Developer Montreal - Hybrid 12-month renewable contract Prefer French Candidates
Requirements Experience with SAS Viya (installation, configuration, administration). Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, FSx, etc.) or other cloud environments. Knowledge of Kubernetes and its components (pods, services, ingress, volumes, etc.). Familiarity with DevOps tools: CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, etc.). Strong Linux skills (RHEL, CentOS, or equivalent). Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.). Knowledge of Git for source code and configuration management.
Your Role Administer, maintain, and monitor a SAS Viya platform (preferably within a Kubernetes cluster on AWS), including deploying updates and patches. Implement and maintain CI/CD processes for SAS deployments (scripts, configurations, automated jobs). Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure platform compliance and resilience. Manage access, roles, and permissions within SAS Viya, as well as access to data sources through Authdomains. Participate in Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, incident analysis, and resolution; automate recurring administrative tasks using scripts (Bash, Python, etc.). Maintain and clearly document procedures and configurations. Collaborate with Solution Architecture teams in implementing SAS Viya integration components.
