Position Summary:
Primarily, managing an essay student/peer reviewed assignment through the MyCourses online system called Feedback Fruits. This task does not require reading essays, but it does involve addressing student problems with the essay assignment. Also, help grading short written answers in quizzes and exams according to an outlined format for the answers. Entering these grades into a spreadsheet.
Qualifications:
A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student at the Master’s or Doctoral level, at McGill University, employed to assist a course Supervisor. Preferably knowledge of microbiology and ideally having taken the MIMM 323 course. However, basic science and English language proficiency should suffice.
Language Requirements: Effective communication skills in English are essential. An effective communication skill in French is desirable.
