Role Description Flare is looking for a Client Acquisition Specialist to help grow our client pipeline across the Daterbase, matchmaking, and dating coaching. This role is focused on finding, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients and members through in-person outreach, social media, community networking, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies. This is a highly people-facing role for someone who is outgoing, resourceful, and comfortable going where singles are. You may attend events, expos, conferences, bars, restaurants, fitness spaces, wellness events, networking events, community meetups, and other social environments where single people naturally spend time. You will also use digital channels, including social media and online communities, to identify potential clients and introduce them to Flare in a warm, respectful, and brand-aligned way.
The ideal candidate loves meeting new people, starting conversations, building relationships, and helping connect singles with services that may support their dating lives. This role is not primarily responsible for closing sales or managing full client conversion. Instead, you will focus on sourcing qualified prospects, generating interest, capturing consent for follow-up, and creating strong handoffs to Flare’s Sales and Member Services teams.
Responsibilities Identify and engage prospective clients and members for Flare’s Daterbase, matchmaking, and dating coaching offerings. Research where singles are spending time, both online and in person, across different age groups, lifestyles, and communities. Attend relevant events, expos, conferences, social spaces, bars, restaurants, wellness events, fitness spaces, and community gatherings to source potential leads. Use social media, online groups, referrals, and local networks to identify and connect with prospective clients. Introduce Flare’s services clearly, confidently, and respectfully. Conduct initial conversations to understand a prospect’s dating goals, location, interest level, and potential service fit. Gather contact information and consent for follow-up from interested prospects. Maintain accurate records of leads, outreach activity, notes, consent, and handoff status in Flare’s tracking system. Create warm handoffs to the appropriate Sales or Member Services team member for consultation, onboarding, or package conversion. Test different sourcing channels and provide feedback on which events, communities, platforms, and outreach methods generate the strongest leads.
What We’re Looking For Highly outgoing, confident, and comfortable starting conversations with new people. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Genuine interest in dating, relationships, people, and community-building. Resourceful, creative, and proactive in finding new ways to reach prospective clients. Comfortable attending events, social spaces, and public-facing environments on behalf of Flare. Strong judgment and emotional intelligence when discussing personal topics like dating and relationships. Organized and consistent with follow-ups, lead tracking, and handoffs. Comfortable using social media and digital platforms for outreach. Self-directed and able to work independently in the field and online. Comfortable with flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, based on outreach opportunities. Bonus: experience in sales, recruiting, events, hospitality, nightlife, community engagement, dating, coaching, matchmaking, or lifestyle brands.
Success in This Role Looks Like Generating a consistent flow of qualified leads for Daterbase, matchmaking, and dating coaching. Building strong referral sources and community relationships. Identifying the best places, events, platforms, and communities to find prospective clients. Creating positive first impressions of Flare through respectful, warm, and professional outreach. Supporting smooth handoffs into the Sales and Member Services pipeline. Helping Flare grow its client and member base through creative, community-driven outreach.
Compensation, Hours & Structure This is a contractor position with the possibility to move into a permanent opportunity Open to either part-time (20hrs/week) or full-time (40hrs/week) applicants Compensation of $20-$25/hr based on experience + commission Evening and weekend availability may be required based on outreach events scheduling
