About the role

Job Summary

CLASSIFICATION: Pharmacist, Temporary, Full-time, term to December 31, 2026

HOURS: 1.0 FTE (37.5 hours/week). Monday to Saturday. All locations ? Current site: Westside.

CORE FUNCTION:

Provide pharmaceutical care services to clinic and non-clinic clients.

Directs, guides, and evaluates pharmacy technicians, assistants, and/or students as required.

In collaboration with the physician provide prescriptions and medication counselling and drug education as part of the interdisciplinary team with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease management.

QUALFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

Registration with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP).

Registration with Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS).

Must be bondable.

Insurance ? malpractice insurance.

Must have knowledge of and capability with the philosophy and policies of CHSA.

Good oral and communication skills.

Previous experience preferred.

Able to work independently as well as work as a team member.

Able to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills and professional attitude.
