About the role

Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.90 F.T.E.) Educational Assistant at Grimshaw Public School. This position will commence August 27, 2026 and continuing until June 29, 2027. The successful candidate will be working with a variety of student with diverse needs.

Qualifications

Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent Experience and/or training working with young children

Skills

Ability to work with children with varied age, skill level, needs and abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers Ability to work as part of a team Ability to work independently Commitment and accountability

Requirements

Provide an acceptance current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check

This is a union position under the collective agreement between the

Rate Of Pay

$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
