The Role

Our client focuses on the distribution of mining products and water across Canada and the United States. In the search for a Shipper/Receiver for the branch in Langley. The shift times are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with the possibility of starting at 7 am.

Please note this job is temporary with the opportunity for a permanent extension depending on performance after 4-5 months.

Responsibilities

Receives and stocks products in the warehouse Picks customer orders from inventory and ensures to meet productivity and accuracy standards Loads and unloads orders/shipments Completes all paperwork and documentation required Ensures yard and warehouse are clean and organized Complies with health and safety measures Forklift operation

Requirements

Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude Remarkable attention to detail Accuracy and KPI driven Outstanding team player Strong initiative and accountability Time management and organization Capable to comply with health and safety regulations Previous forklift operation experience Ability to stand for long periods of time and lifting of 50 lbs regularly Comfortable working inside the warehouse as well as outside under weather conditions at the yard
