LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER

Full-time (1.00 FTE) Term position

West Vancouver Secondary School

Effective September 8th, 2026 until June 30, 2027

The annual salary for a full-time teaching position ranges from $63,347 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. The salary will be prorated based on FTE.

Required Qualifications And Experience

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:

Master's or Diploma in Special Education Current knowledge and experience working with students with both high and low incidence disabilities Current knowledge and experience writing IEPs, developing appropriate programming for students with special needs and conducting school based team meetings Additional qualifications as per Special Education Services: a Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines Certificate of Qualification from the Teacher Regulation Branch
