Job Title: Full Stack Developer — Backend Focus / Technical Product & Delivery Coordinator Location: Remote / Flexible

Overview: We are seeking a proactive Full Stack Developer with a stronger backend focus and the ability to support technical product coordination and project delivery. The preferred candidate will contribute hands-on to the development while also helping organize technical requirements, coordinate workstreams, track deliverables, and keep the team aligned with approved product requirements and milestones. You will work directly with the company owner and collaborate with the architect, developers, designers, DevOps, AI/ML, and other contributors to ensure architectural, functional, backend, data, workflow, and user-experience requirements are implemented correctly. The selected candidate must be capable of contributing technically, particularly across backend design and development, APIs, databases, integrations, system logic, and full-stack implementation. All source code and IP will be owned by the company.

Responsibilities: Build and maintain backend services, APIs, workflows, and business logic using Python and FastAPI. Support frontend development and integration using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Design, implement, and maintain structured relational database schemas using PostgreSQL. Develop secure REST APIs and service integrations between frontend, backend, database, AI-assisted features, and third-party services. Implement authentication, role-based access, permissions, consent-controlled data visibility, and secure user workflows using tools such as Auth0, AWS Cognito, Clerk, or similar. Develop user, company, administrator, entitlement, workflow, scoring, ranking, validation, and conflict-flagging logic. Build multi-select fields, dependent dropdowns, dynamic filters, taxonomy relationships, ordering logic, and structured search capabilities. Support the implementation of matching, recommendation, semantic search, AI-assisted parsing, and structured data-collection workflows in collaboration with AI/ML contributors. Create and maintain backend validation rules, status transitions, audit records, version history, notification triggers, and recalculation workflows. Assist with API documentation, database documentation, technical specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow definitions, and implementation notes. Translate product requirements and design documents into clear technical tasks, dependencies, and implementation priorities. Help coordinate development workstreams across frontend, backend, UI/UX, DevOps, AI/ML, testing, and documentation contributors. Track assigned milestones, deliverables, blockers, dependencies, technical decisions, and unresolved questions. Support sprint planning, task clarification, progress reviews, testing readiness, and completion tracking. Identify gaps, inconsistencies, technical risks, or unclear requirements and raise them before development proceeds. Help ensure that completed work aligns with the approved Product Guide, workflows, architecture, designs, and acceptance criteria. Seed and maintain test data for development, integration testing, and prototype validation. Support deployments, environment configuration, Docker-based development, hosting, secrets management, CI/CD, monitoring, and environment-specific debugging. Collaborate directly with the company owner and project contributors to ensure MVP milestones are achieved and system requirements are fully implemented.

Strong backend development, logical thinking, problem-solving, documentation, and attention-to-detail capabilities. Ability to work independently while also coordinating a cross-functional team effectively. Ability to understand a complex product, break requirements into manageable technical tasks, and help move workstreams toward completion. Experience supporting technical product delivery, sprint coordination, requirements clarification, task tracking, or cross-functional implementation is strongly preferred. Experience with AI/ML, natural language processing, semantic search, recommendation systems, or AI-assisted interfaces for structured data collection is preferred. Notes: All code must be original; the company will own all source code, documentation, designs, configurations, deliverables, and related IP. NDA and IP assignment agreements are required before full project details are shared. This is NOT a salary-based role or employment. It will be a temporary contract, project-based assignment with pre-assigned and mutually agreed-upon deliverables. The role combines hands-on full-stack and backend development with technical product and project-delivery coordination. The selected candidate will not be expected to make unilateral product or architectural decisions.
