About the role

The North Lambton Community Health Centre is a community governed health centre serving identified priority populations in a defined catchment area. The Centre operates multiple sites in Forest, Kettle & Stony Point, Watford, and Sarnia, Ontario. Our interdisciplinary team provides primary health care, health promotion and community development services.

As part of the Afterschool Strategy, funded by the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, the North Lambton Community Health Centre requires the following contract positions from September 2026 to June 2027: Afterschool Youth Leader (2 positions) The Youth Leader will work closely with the Project Leader to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a variety of life skills and personal development activities for youth aged 12 to 18. Programming will be delivered in Forest for all youth, with specific sessions dedicated to 2SLGBTQAI+ youth.

Qualifications Currently working towards O.S.S.D. Experience working with youth aged 12-18. Strong communication and group facilitation skills. This is a contract position with an hourly rate of pay of $16.90 per hour plus 10% in lieu of benefits. Flexible hours of work are required. The incumbent(s) will be to work in Forest. Availability to attend special events in required.
