Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW 6-month contract The Social Media Coordinator occupies a central role in the conception, editing and coordination of social media activities. The Coordinator is also responsible for the optimization of the brand’s presence on social media. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for writing, reviewing and editing marketing material and coordinating social media activities ; Builds and grows social media presence on current & emerging social networks; Monitors & engages in online conversations, including responding in a timely manner to mentions across all avenues; Analyses campaign effectiveness through analysis and makes recommendations for future campaigns to optimize resources; Manages social calendar that is distributed on a weekly basis to our key partners; Assists with the creation and management of monthly content calendars; Coordinates all requests for merchandise for Bloggers and special projects marketing initiatives. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in digital marketing or social media management; experience in the fashion or retail industry is considered an asset. Strong knowledge and understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) and a passion for digital trends. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience using web analytics tools and preparing performance reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other digital tools. Bilingualism (English and French, both written and spoken) is required to effectively support our customers, partners, and internal teams across Canada.
