About the role

Overview:

As a member of KPMG’s Sales Enablement and Marketing team in the Prairies, the Marketing Specialist will support senior team members with events, content marketing, communications, sponsorships, project deliverables and other market activities. If you’re a tactical, self-starter interested in further developing your marketing skillset in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team to drive growth, this is the opportunity for you.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with our regional marketing team to rollout programs across the prairies, share materials, best practices, and enhance overall marketing efficiencies
  • Support senior team members with events, sponsorships, content creation, social media, campaign coordination and other marketing activities
  • Assist in the development and production of marketing collateral, including slipsheets, presentations, pitch decks, communications, and social media
  • Help measure the success of marketing activities, by compiling data for pre-determined objectives and KPIs
  • Desktop publishing and light graphic design to ensure materials are on brand

At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. What you bring to this role:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing with the ability to consistently apply the fundamental principles of marketing and strong understanding of B2B marketing
  • Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video editing,and software such as Canva an asset
  • Strong communication, project management skills and ability to prioritize, with a positive, solution-oriented approach
  • Event management experience
  • Resourceful, self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude, strong client service and attention to detail, sound judgement and a highly collaborative, team-oriented style
  • Experience working in a complex matrix-style system and organization structure is an asset
