Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Application Analyst, supported by relevant education (Bachelor’s in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience planning and monitoring User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticket management systems for Change, Incident, and Service Requests
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery environments supporting application development, enhancements, and operational work
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of ITSM frameworks, workflows, and documentation standards
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working within highly regulated settings such as Government, Healthcare, Legal, or Financial sectors
- Familiarity with Data and Cloud literacy, Data Warehousing, and Reporting tools
- Understanding of Technology Standardization, ITSM best practices, Jira, and workflow development
- Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance protocols in sensitive environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Information Technology or a related field
- At least 3 to 7 years of relevant Application Analyst experience, depending on educational background
- Experience supporting legacy and modern applications within cloud environments like Azure or AWS
- Background working with data platforms such as Snowflake or similar
Other Requirements:
- This role is primarily in-person in downtown Edmonton; candidates must work onsite in Canada
- Work hours are standard business hours from 08:15 to 16:30 MST, Monday through Friday
- Ability to support the transition of applications and data between legacy and cloud systems
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain necessary security clearances is preferred
