The Opportunity
As a Registered Psychotherapist, you will have the autonomy to build and manage your own practice within a supportive, established clinic environment. You will benefit from a steady referral base, opportunities for collaboration, and access to resources that support both your clinical work and professional growth. This unique opportunity supports Everwell's partnership with the YWCA Hamilton counselling program. The successful clinician will provide a combination of in-person counselling services at the YWCA's downtown Hamilton location and virtual counselling services for both YWCA-referred clients and Everwell clients. This position is supported in part through a community partnership currently in place until March 2027. Clinicians may also receive referrals from Everwell's broader client network and may continue beyond this period based on organizational needs and client demand.
Key Responsibilities

Provide experienced PTSD and Trauma-Informed Care

Able to provide experienced psychotherapy, psychoeducational and/or psychological assessments

Experience with WSIB program

Effectively manage case load, reporting

Additional Role Expectations:

Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week

Able to work in person at YWCA Hamilton 1-2 days per week
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or related field)
- Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body
- 3+ years of relevant working experience in areas of practice
- Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments
- Experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and case management skills (e.g., timely reports)
- No supervision required would be an asset
