Aquent is partnering with a leading organization dedicated to creating impactful learning experiences, and we are seeking a talented Jr E-Learning Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global initiative, designing and developing cutting-edge e-learning courses that will reach a diverse audience across 20 languages. You will play a crucial role in shaping how thousands learn and grow, directly influencing the success of vital training programs.

This role offers project-to-project based freelance work, providing flexibility and exposure to various aspects of e-learning development. We are building a bench of skilled professionals ready to dive into engaging projects.

Project Details

Estimated start date: late August Duration: Open-ended project to project work, with an initial engagement of 4 months Hours per week will vary depending on project workload

Impactful Responsibilities

As a Jr E-Learning Developer, you will be instrumental in bringing learning content to life. Your day-to-day will involve:

Collaborating closely with the instructional design team to develop engaging e-learning courses using Articulate Rise. Contributing to a significant global project, creating content that will be translated into 20 languages. Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills by meticulously following set naming conventions and folder structures. Working efficiently and quickly to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail. Crafting interactive and compelling course content that adheres to SCORM/xAPI compliance standards and functions seamlessly across multiple learning management systems. Applying a keen eye for graphic design, ensuring all courseware aligns with established brand guidelines. Configuring courseware for meaningful reporting within various learning management systems. Proactively troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues encountered during course development or delivery. Conducting thorough quality assurance testing to guarantee courses function perfectly and exceed client expectations. Staying informed on the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and techniques to continuously enhance development practices. Assisting with project planning and timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met. Communicating regularly with project managers and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong foundation in e-learning development and a passion for creating impactful educational content:

Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, computer science, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience developing e-learning courses, specifically utilizing Articulate Rise. A strong understanding of SCORM/xAPI and other e-learning standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as a valuable part of a team.

Preferred Skills

These qualifications will set you apart:

Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS).

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates will be expected to provide their own laptop and their own Articulate Rise license.
