This Position is covering for an extended leave and may be extended to a continuing contract in the 2027/2028 School year; please inquire for details.
The above job vacancy is eligible for a pre-employment hiring incentive of $ 10,000.00 in return for a successful candidate accepting a job offer for this position. Note: Candidates are not eligible for the above if they were previously paid a pre-employment hiring incentive for a teaching position in the K-12 sector (in the 2023/2024, 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 school years under the provincial hiring incentives program). Qualifications:
1. Successful Classroom teaching experience
2. Knowledge of and willingness to use, current best practices in education.
3. Familiarity with BC Curriculum
4. A strong team orientation.
5. Excellent planning and organization skills.
6. A desire to grow professionally.
7. Clear Criminal Record Check.
