Children’s Centre Thunder Bay works together with families, caregivers and a community of partners to make a real difference in the quality of life of children and youth. We are an accredited, not-for-profit organization providing treatment and support services for children and youth, from birth to 18 years, who are experiencing behavioural, emotional, developmental or social difficulties. The Centre is currently seeking to fill the following position:

One Temporary Part-Time Housekeeper

Union Position

Varied hours of work, including evenings and weekends

Hourly: $19.53 - $23.76

Responsibilities:

The Housekeeper is responsible to perform all housekeeping duties in accordance with Centre standards and ensure that all work areas are prepared for the following workday.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Required:

The Housekeeper position requires:

• A high school diploma
• A good working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act including aspects relating to WHMIS
• The ability to lift moderately heavy objects, and have the physical strength to perform repetitive tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, etc.
• Evenings and weekends availability with minimal supervision.
