Signature Landscape Concepts is a landscape design and construction firm operating in Belleville, Ontario in the beautiful Bay of Quinte Region. We are experiencing continued growth within the industry and we are currently seeking individual(s) to join our team as an EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPE INSTALLER.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPE INSTALLER you will be expected to develop landscape projects of varying complexity in both residential and commercial environments. You will be responsible for carrying out the day to day tasks associated with constructing these projects - reading construction drawings and order sheets, ordering products, interacting with staff, coordinating deliveries, etc.

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold at a very minimum of 3-5 years landscape (or other construction) experience with some post-secondary schooling an asset.
• Proficient in regular tools (concrete saws, compactors, transits) and machinery (backhoe and skid steer) operation a requirement
• Have the ability to read landscape plans and place landscape features accordingly
• Have the ability to take direction from owners and give direction to labourers
• Have good foresight, initiative, and problem solving skills
• Possess a strong attention to detail
• Be available Monday - Friday with some requirements for Saturday work
• Hold a valid Ontario's License (Class D License an asset) with a clean driving record

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Employment would be SEASONAL - April to December. Prospective candidates should be prepared to work 45+ hours per week. Salary options may be discussed.

RATE OF PAY

Rate of pay will be negotiable dependent on aptitude, attitude, productivity, experience and skill. Applicants can expect to be compensated well for experience and special skills.
