The Marketing & Growth team for the PC Express business at Loblaw Digital is a team that puts the customer at the center of everything we do, and as the Growth Marketing Specialist, you will own customer lifecycle growth strategies across the customer journey with a focus on customer engagement, retention, loyalty, and long-term customer value. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Specialist, you will leverage customer insights, analytics, segmentation, and experimentation to identify growth opportunities and deliver measurable business impacts. You will partner closely with CRM, Loyalty, Analytics, Product, and Marketing Operations teams to develop and optimize lifecycle programs while ensuring a seamless customer experience across channels. This role will partner with other internal groups on campaign implementation, requiring a mix of strategy and execution. As a part of the Marketing & Growth team, you will also be involved with supporting other initiatives, including acquisition and other growth programs. What you’ll do - Own and evolve lifecycle marketing strategies across key customer journeys, including onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, reactivation, and loyalty. Work with the Senior Marketing Specialist to develop growth, product, and lifecycle marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and lifetime value. Identify growth opportunities through customer behavior analysis, segmentation, and lifecycle performance insights. Develop testing roadmaps and experimentation frameworks to continuously improve customer engagement, retention, and conversion performance. Partner with Marketing Automation and CRM teams to bring lifecycle campaigns to market and ensure communications are deployed accurately and efficiently. Support the development and execution of email, push and other customer communication programs. Brief creative and media teams and manage feedback and approval processes with stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization such as Analytics, Creative, Digital Product, Operations, Merchandising, and other Marketing teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives. Leverage analytics teams across the business, utilize data to understand business performance, as well as support the implementation of campaigns leveraging data. Identify performance gaps and formulate targeted campaigns and offer strategies to address deltas effectively. Analyze customer trends, campaigns, and business performance data to generate actionable recommendations. What You Bring - 3+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Retention Marketing, or a related discipline. Experience developing customer lifecycle strategies and segmentation across Acquisition, CRM, Loyalty, and Retention. Understanding of digital marketing and eCommerce principles and best practices. Proven experience using data and analytics to drive marketing decisions and business outcomes. Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as MoEngage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Campaign or similar. Growth mindset – you know there’s always a better way to do things and are willing to disrupt yourself or the status quo, customer obsessed with an entrepreneurial spirit Strong attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects while working effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment Experience developing testing strategies, experimentation frameworks, and performance measurement plans. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners. Comfortable using and learning a variety of marketing technology tools for deployment and analytics.
