This Position reports to:

Warehouse Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

The work model for the role is: onsite & temporary.

This role is contributing to the Emergency Lighting Division in Dorval.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Pick and deliver materials to designated workstations using a cart.
  • Perform inventory and material transactions using an RF handheld device.
  • Replenish bins and complete warehouse instruction sheets.
  • Perform transfer transactions from the warehouse to production tables.
  • Return unused items to the warehouse.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Perform manual kitting of parts, including backflushing operations.
  • Operate a tugger for internal material handling (optional)

Qualifications for the role

  • Holds a certification in ______ or is willing to obtain certification
  • Demonstrates good manual dexterity for packaging and labeling tasks
  • Comfortable performing repetitive manual work
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Proficient in using handheld scanners
  • Open to job/task rotation.
  • Ability to maintain the workflow according to the established objectives.
  • Autonomy, versatility, team spirit.
  • French or English, spoken, written and read.
