Transdev Canada is hiring a temporary Site Utility Worker for our Fort McMurray location.

As a Site Utility Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of our worksite and fleet, while adhering to company standards and established safety procedures.

The job:

• Wash and clean the interior and exterior of buses and light vehicles, including windows, seats, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in the office and shop area
• Operate equipment such as power washers, small tools, industrial vacuums, and air compressor
• Perform general yard and warehouse duties, and assist mechanics with minor repair work as required
• Fuel light vehicles and ensure they are prepared and ready for services.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Your profile:

• You hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving abstract. A Class 2 with Air Brakes endorsement, or higher, preferred.
• You are able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• You demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• You possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
• You are physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including lifting and bending.

Your location:

• This is a temporary, full-time unionized position on a worksite located two hours from Fort McMurray, Alberta.

• Work schedule is 14 days on/14 days off.

• Working hours are Monday to Sunday for 12 hours per day while on shift.

• You will be supplied with flights from Calgary or Edmonton only, as well as a camp accommodation on the work site.
