  1. Verify course content and links, updating resources as necessary.

  2. Evaluate and record student progress with the use of assessments, assignments, and observations in accordance with program and institute guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Description

Required Qualifications

  1. Recognized relevant four-year degree (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies, Bachelor’s in Child Development).

  2. Two years’ recent and relevant experience working in an Early Learning and Childcare Education setting as an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher/ECE Instructor.

  3. Knowledge of provincial regulations and ministry requirements related to early childhood education

  4. Ability to create and manage budgets.

  5. Knowledge of human resources practices.

  6. Effective interpersonal skills.

  7. Effective communication skills (both oral and written).

  8. Effective instructional ability.

  9. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.

  10. Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.

  11. Demonstrates Valuing Diversity
