**1.0 FTE Science, Math & French Teacher **
(French 8, Earth Sc 11, Science 9 x 2, LFI Math 8, LFI Math 9, French 8/9)
**__ Temporary: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 __ **
Qualifications:
- BC Certification
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent
- Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in the above subjects
- Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for the above subjects, the learning outcomes and appropriate resources
- Fluently bilingual. Demonstrated fluency in both English and French in both the receptive and expressive modes, oral and written
- Previous successful experience teaching the above subjects
- Experience with a variety of learning management systems
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills
Note: Candidates may be asked to complete an oral or written French language screening to determine levels of language proficiency.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,337 to $111,450, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
