Course Number and Name: EMU262H1- Instrumental Percussion   Course Description: Introductory study of percussion   Class Schedule: Mondays 9-10am in the Fall term   Months of contract: September to December 2026   Salary: $3,399.14   Estimated Course Enrollment: 18   TA support: none                                                                                        Qualifications: Graduate degree in music education, music performance or equivalent professional experience. Experience teaching percussion to beginners in a school, private lesson or class setting. Extensive knowledge of pedagogy, methods and repertoire for student percussion performers. Demonstrated excellence teaching percussion pedagogy at the university level.   Duties: Define course objectives; prepare course materials; provide clear guidelines on course requirements and regulations; teach classes as scheduled; administer and evaluate student assignments; prepare and submit final grades in accordance with policy.
