Primary Duties:

  • Utilizing strong skills in literacy and numeracy instruction, with the ability to support diverse learners in achieving academic growth
  • Conducting effective classroom management skills, fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
  • Displaying a commitment to inclusive education, with the ability to adapt instruction to meet a wide range of student needs Excellent collaboration and communication skills when working with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
  • Reflecting a positive, energetic approach to teaching, grounded in faith and a commitment to student well-being and spiritual growth
  • Displaying a willingness to actively contribute to school life by leading student activities, extracurricular opportunities, and leadership initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Education required
  • Temporary or permanent teaching authority (new graduates please refer to )
  • Competent in the use of technology (Power School, Interactive Boards, Google and Microsoft Suite)
  • Effective integration of technology into daily instruction to support engagement, differentiation, and student learning outcomes
  • Strong communication skills with parents/guardians, including the use of digital platforms to support ongoing collaboration and student success
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Classroom, etc.) to plan, deliver, and share instructional materials
  • Experience using student information systems such as PowerSchool for accurate and timely recording, tracking, and reporting of student progress
