Job Purpose You will represent medical science in a field-based 12-month contract role dedicated to Quebec, with the possibility to extend. The role focuses on engaging cardio-renal-metabolic and inflammatory disease specialists and related healthcare professionals across the province. You will build trusted, peer-to-peer scientific relationships with external experts, gather clinical insights, share balanced scientific information, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help shape medical strategy and support evidence-based patient care. The position is primarily remote and field-based with regular travel across the province to engage specialists, healthcare professionals, external experts, and relevant professional networks. You will meet colleagues and external stakeholders face-to-face and virtually as needed. The ability to work fluently in both French and English is required. Details (Your Responsibilities) This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following: Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with cardio-renal-metabolic and inflammatory disease specialists and related healthcare professionals across Quebec, and affiliated professional networks. Deliver balanced, non-promotional scientific information in one-to-one and group settings, and respond to unsolicited scientific enquiries. Collect and document medical voice of customer and actionable insights from healthcare professionals to inform medical, clinical, access, and cross-functional strategies. Support scientific programs, congress activities, expert engagement planning, and post-congress knowledge sharing related to cardio-renal-metabolic care. Provide scientific training and support to internal colleagues using approved materials. Support clinical development and evidence generation activities, including identifying potential clinical sites. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Minimum MSc degree in a relevant life science, healthcare, or clinical field (advanced or terminal degree such as MD, PharmD, or PhD strongly preferred). Minimum two years’ experience in a medical affairs or Medical Science Liaison role. Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific data clearly to specialist clinical audiences in cardio-renal-metabolic care. Demonstrated skills in building professional relationships with healthcare providers, external experts, and professional networks in Quebec. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly across the territory (up to 70%). Right to work in Canada and residence within, or ability to access, the Quebec territory on a regular basis. Full professional bilingualism in French and English is required to engage effectively with Quebec healthcare professionals, external experts, and internal stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, MSc, or PhD) in a relevant field. Experience in cardio-renal-metabolic care, including cardiovascular, renal, diabetes, obesity, endocrinology, internal medicine, or related therapeutic areas. Familiarity with the Quebec and Canadian healthcare systems, including regional care pathways, reimbursement, and stakeholder dynamics. Proven experience supporting scientific programs at congresses and meetings. Experience contributing to real-world evidence or investigator-initiated studies. Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse clinical audiences. This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company-leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements Why GSK?
