Position Title: RQ00702 - Senior Business Analyst – IBM Maximo Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Mode: Contract Client: City of Toronto

Position Overview T The successful candidate will provide business analysis expertise throughout the design, implementation, testing, and deployment phases of a large-scale IBM Maximo solution. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, BPMN modelling, testing coordination, and enterprise asset management implementations using IBM Maximo.

Key Responsibilities Facilitate business and technical workshops with stakeholders and project teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements. Prepare, document, and obtain approvals for Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and related artifacts. Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) and convert approved requirements into JIRA user stories and testing components. Document current-state ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") business processes utilizing BPMN standards. Participate in solution design activities and support vendor implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data for various testing phases. Support unit, functional, integration, system, regression, performance, penetration, and user acceptance testing activities. Facilitate defect management, issue tracking, test execution reporting, and defect triage sessions. Analyze testing outcomes and prepare status reports, risk assessments, and management updates. Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and enhanced business value realization. Support benefits realization planning and additional project deliverables as required.

Required Qualifications University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting large-scale enterprise technology initiatives. Minimum two (2) years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (Version 7, 8, 9, or Maximo Application Suite). Strong functional and technical expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions. Extensive experience in business workflow analysis, systems integration, conversion strategies, and process optimization. Proven experience developing As-Is and To-Be process models using BPMN standards. Demonstrated experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Strong experience supporting enterprise testing activities, including UAT coordination, defect management, and test execution. Hands-on experience using JIRA for requirements management, traceability, and Agile project delivery. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, business intelligence concepts, information management, data modelling, and enterprise application environments.

Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing IBM Maximo solutions in municipal, public sector, or asset-intensive environments. Experience with HP ALM/OpenText ALM testing tools. Knowledge of mobile computing, geospatial technologies, and web-based enterprise applications.
