Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary Educational Assistant position

• To provide one-on-one support to a students in an Elementary classroom setting

• Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year

Qualifications and/or Assets:

• Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
• Experience with Students who have speech and language delays would be considered an asset
• Experience supporting students and children with behavioral needs would be considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
• Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
• Ability to work with numerous service providers Calm and patient approach to solving problems
• Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset Willingness to work collaboratively in an active, team-orientated learning environment
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
