This intensive laboratory, lecture / tutorial course provides students with essential information and practical experience in recombinant DNA technology, molecular biology and bio-informatics. Must be BioSafety Certified (proof required) or be willing to undergo BioSafety training prior to taking up the position. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience in BIOD21H3 at UTSC is an asset. Duties: Specific duties will include design and delivery of course materials including lectures and lab manuals; guided student discussions and presentations; ensuring the smooth running of labs; assignments and other assessments (such as exams); marking/grading; office hours and miscellaneous clerical tasks. Instructors must be on site during the laboratory sessions at UTSC. No changes to the course delivery mode are permitted.
