This intensive laboratory, lecture / tutorial course provides students with essential information and practical experience in recombinant DNA technology, molecular biology and bio-informatics. Please ensure you apply at this link as applications are not seen on SuccessFactors: https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/webapps/cupehiring/dept/bio/app/slMinimum Qualifications: Successful candidates should have or be near completion of their Ph.D. and be knowledgeable in advanced molecular biology laboratory courses at the 4th year level and familiar with the most recent literature in the field (teaching experience preferred).  Must be BioSafety Certified (proof required) or be willing to undergo BioSafety training prior to taking up the position. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience in BIOD21H3 at UTSC is an asset. Duties: Specific duties will include design and delivery of course materials including lectures and lab manuals; guided student discussions and presentations; ensuring the smooth running of labs; assignments and other assessments (such as exams); marking/grading; office hours and miscellaneous clerical tasks.
