Job Description:

Scope • The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) requires a Senior Business Analysts to assist with report development for the new data warehouse/lakehouse and associated data migration activities.

​ Mandatory Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience leading and conducting business and system analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and document the business/system requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be designed. • Proven experience in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies. • Proven experience in conducting business and system analysis in respect to building data marts/data warehouses/data lakehouse or Business Intelligence/Data Analytics and Reporting solutions. • Demonstrated experience working as a business analyst in large/complex data migration projects. • Demonstrated experience with writing user stories and using tools such as DevOps.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience conducting analyses at varying levels of detail, appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with OPS standards. • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as PowerBI • Basic knowledge of SQL language; ability to execute SQL queries. • Understanding of concepts around ETL, data quality, data cleaning, data issues’ handling. • experience in conducting business and system analysis for a Dynamics 365 CE and/or F&O solution or other CRM/ERP solutions. • Experience creating use cases, test plans, test cases, test scripts ideally around reporting and/or data migration. • Experience with defect management processes, defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution. • Familiarity with industry-standard quality assurance practices, such as ISO standards, CMMI, or Agile methodologies • Experience consulting and coordinating between Business Areas and the IT Development and Testing teams to clarify business requirements and translating them into system requirements. • Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills; proven gap analysis experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
