Digital Print Operator

Using advanced digital printing technology, you will deliver high-quality colour and black-and-white production, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and contribute to a fast-moving environment that values accuracy, service excellence, and continuous learning.
What is in it for you:
• Hourly salary of $21. • 6-month contract. • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week. • Weekday schedule 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. • On-site work in a dynamic environment. • Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. • Interact with customers. • Manage all emails. • Receive print orders. • Determine output requirements. • Set up equipment, print jobs, and check proofs. • Perform scanning and document manipulation as required. • Perform maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptime. • Monitor and manage supplies. • Track and store jobs for future reuse according to customer requirements. • Record meter readings. • Process production forms and maintain records. • Complete billing and month-end activities. • Operate colour and black-and-white reprographics and mainframe printing services. • Facilitate quality control to ensure completed work meets customer requirements. • Perform other assigned duties.
What you will need to succeed:
• Experience operating large centralized digital print equipment. • Print production experience. • Experience with black-and-white and colour printers is considered an asset. • Experience with FreeFlow is considered an asset. • Experience with bindery equipment is considered an asset. • Demonstrated knowledge of print equipment, service offerings, and production processes. • Ability to detect production inconsistencies and quality issues. • Experience using PC applications in a networked environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. • Strong attention to detail. • Customer-focused approach. • Willingness to learn and follow direction. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision. • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
